A Tribute to Robert Bresloff

Robert Bresloff

Robert Bresloff was a talented writer, an accomplished musician and guitar maker, as well as a respected trainer holding certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Therapist, Adaptive Fitness Specialist and a Specialist in Fitness for Older Adults from the International Sports Sciences Association. He owned Total Fitness Concepts, Inc., in Mundelein, IL. While training with Bob, my wife learned that he wanted an artist to illustrate his juvenile and middle school age adventure books and she sold him on me.
Bob's books, which I illustrated, include three titles in "Bound into the Classics" series: The Wee  Musketeers, Robin and The Little Hoods and Wiz Kids of Oz. I also illustrated Wizards and Stuff and Crockett... Remember. Bob also wrote It's Not Too Late: A Baby Boomer's Guide to Fitness.
Bob became my valued friend and confidant as well as my trusted critic. We worked as a team on the four titles above and almost finished with the next book in the series (which was published postmortem) about the fall of the Alamo when he unexpectedly died. I treasure the time we spent working together and think of him daily.
